Where do I begin. This could be my favorite place I have ever visited. Myself, wife and kids were having cabin fever during this pandemic, so we decided to go to a cabin!. Not just any cabin or lodge, we like to call it the Taj Hotel. Probably my 5th visit so far. Usually a place for my and my brothers to go and do some fishing and exploring on the beautiful Pine Creek! But this trip was with the wife and kids. From the beauty of the inside to the beauty of the outside, it doesn't get much better. Prime fishing and hunting, eagles soaring by, wildlife everywhere it seems, this lodge is top notch! Kids loved it, even thought the 2nd day we had about 2 inches of heavy rain all day. Didn't matter. Plenty of board games available, and everything in the lodge is aesthetically pleasing! You cannot go wrong with a visit here. Never been disappointed. Liz the owner, is the absolute best! Sweet kind lady looking out for her clients utmost comfort and enjoyment! Heading back up soon and so looking forward to enjoying this phenomenal spot! If outdoor beauty, luxery and quiet peacefulness is what you're looking for, this is with out a doubt, hands down, the place to be! Todd.

Always a Treat!

We have stayed at this lovely home several times and always are a bit sad to leave....just one more day would be great we'll say to each other knowing we really do need to get back to our busy lives. The house is very spacious yet cozy, modern updates yet still gives you that cabin feel. We sometimes will fish or hike all day or be couch potatoes depending on the time of the year, weather or just how were feeling that day. Either way, it is the perfect place to do both. This past trip was more of a "recharge" getaway. Lots of warm fires and blankets, movies and book reading. The view out of the front windows is mesmerizing - beautiful creek and mountain views for miles! The owner is always so accommodating and kind. Responds quickly not only through the booking process but also during your stay. We have worked with her numerous times and it is like talking to an old friend at this point - makes me smile.

Welcome to Paradise

As the title says, I think each year I pull into the driveway to this stream side place, “Welcome to Paradise”. Besides the beauty of the Pine creek valley and the daily eagle sightings and great fishing, this place offers all the comforts and conveniences you’ll ever need. The place is pristine, well decorated, has plenty of rooms and each year new features are added. Been coming for several yrs now and Liz is very detailed oriented and attentive to all your questions and needs. You have a beautiful deck to enjoy, with a propane fire pit if needed, a nice fire ring down near the water, well working grill (although multiple ovens inside), plenty of beds and room, all items in good working condition. So if you want to come and “rough it”, you won’t find that here. All needs are met here. Although there is plenty of space to put a tent in the yard if that’s your thing. Great place and well run.

Great long weekend at the Creekside Canyon Lodge in Cedar Run.

We have been coming to Cedar Run on the Pine Creek Trail with three other couples for the last five or so years and finally came across Creekside Canyon Lodge this year. We spent three nights and had a fantastic time. The house exceeded our expectations with a great kitchen and dining room, nicely appointed bedrooms and bathrooms, and a wonderful living room with great picture windows. We spent much of our time relaxing on the deck overlooking the the beautiful Pine Creek just a few yards away. This location afforded us the ability to take part in all of the outdoor activities we love to do including biking, hiking, fly fishing, and bird watching. We had the best time this year in all of the years we’ve been coming to the Pine Creek. We have already booked our long weekend for next year!

Spectacular Lodge

Our small group has been renting a lodge in the Cedar Run area of Pine Creek for years. This October we upgraded to Creekside Canyon Lodge and now wish we done it sooner. The lodge is spacious and beautifully decorated with a very modern kitchen. The huge deck that overlooks Pine Creek has two grills and a gas fire pit as well as plenty of seating arrangements. An absolutely spectacular lodge in a stunning setting. All the comforts and amenities of a fine hotel. Roughing it? Not hardly. We booked our weekend next October after being there just 30 minutes. Looking forward to our next stay!

Perfect for fishing trips

This house is great. We've stayed there multiple times during our annual fly fishing trip. Very close to the action and a great setting.

Fishing Fanatic
Fishing Mecca

Our group of 5 stayed in Creekside for another extended weekend (my third year) to experience the outstanding fly fishing on Pine Creek and Slate Run. Creekside offers all the amenities you could ask for while experiencing the clean air and peaceful surroundings of the area. Located just north of Stale Run the cabin offers close proximity to some of the best fly fishing in the State of Pennsylvania. Waking up in the morning to the sound of the river directly behind the cabin is a memory I hold close for the balance of the year. I look forward to another trip to Creekside in 2020!

Our group enjoyed our visit to Creekside very much, Our very first visit, but we have been coming up to Pine Creek fishing for decades renting many different places, and Creekside has everything anyone could possibly need to have an enjoyable trip, plenty of space to go around, plus excellent creek access, to boot. Owner very accommodating in every aspect. Our group plans on returning next year, and we have already booked another visit this coming September with the wives for them to experience Creekside. Thanks again, Liz.

Peaceful Cabin to make family memories at

Our three combined families have been renting this exceptional property for the past six years. Each year there have been updates and features added by the owner, Liz. She is a lovey individual and very accommodating and easy to interact with. The property has all the modern amenities you could wish for, from a Keurig coffee maker to an Alexa. The men in our group are avid fly fishermen and are always excited about hitting Pine Creek, which runs right in front of the cabin. The women enjoy kyacking and all the “glamping” the cabin provides. There is an extremely large lawn area where our kids love to play volleyball; fire pit to make mountain pies, roast marshmallows, or roast hot dogs; large deck area with two seating areas, patio heater, and gas fire pit. The inside of the cabin has always been extremely clean and tidy upon our arrivals. The decor and furniture of the cabin is lovey and could be very romantic (without 8 other people -lol). My husband and I have been trying to sneak away, alone, to this property - but once our kids and siblings find out where we are going, they enjoy it so much we cannot exclude them. Great place to make family memories. I cannot think of a negative thing to say about this rental.

Christmas Memories on Pine Creek

We stayed at Creekside Canyon for Christmas this year. My husband and I, our adult children and two grandchildren. The house was the perfect setting for our holiday. The view from the front picture windows was stunning with Pine Creek flowing right outside. The house was beautifully appointed and decorated for Christmas.,which lent a magical feel. Pine Creek holds sentimental significance for our family so it was the perfect setting. We even saw two bald eagles during our stay which completed our experience. We spent a great deal of time by the outside fire ring because the weather was so mild, the only thing missing was snow as we had brought snow shoes to hike the rail trail. On Christmas Day, my husband and son assisted a lone hiker who had cramped up and was struggling to complete his run back to Blackwell. Liz was exceptionally helpful and welcoming calling to make sure we had made it in safely. She offered her vintage china for our Christmas dinner which was aboveand beyond but greatly appreciated. We would most definitely recommend Creekside Canyon to families visiting the Cedar Run area. It provided everything we needed to create lasting memories for our family this Holiday. Thank you Liz, your hospitality was greatly appreciated. Don and Laurie Friends
